New Zealand native Keith Urban continues to take the musical world by storm. Not only making his mark on the country music scene, Urban’s soothing ballads and country pop style has landed him safely among the greats of popular culture. With the release of every solo project and accompanying tour, fans everywhere experience consistent growth and development from this multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter.

From an early age Urban developed a strong interest in music and the performing arts. By eight he was winning talent shows for his skills on the guitar. Urban went on to be an influential component during the 90’s revolution of country music in Australia with the release of his first album. In 1997 he was ready to tackle his biggest challenge ever, Nashville. Urban arrived and went on to form and become front man for a three-piece band called The Ranch.

Even after the disbandment of The Ranch in 1998, Urban’s guitar playing continued to catch the attention of producers and artists in and out of Nashville. In 1999 Urban released his self-titled American debut album which earned him a Top New Male Vocalist Award. His 2002 release of Golden Road and its hit single “Somebody Like You” secured Urban’s chart-topping ability. Be Here (2005) produced four hit singles and was certified four times platinum. His album success has only been met by his success on the road. Urban’s commitment to touring has established him as one of the most exciting and talented performers. In support of his recent 2006 release, Urban will hit the road during his Love, Pain and The Whole Crazy Thing World Tour.
